The Official Patriots vs Buc's Game Thread

Can't really think of any adjustments to make. With the Bucs probably going with more passes, might be time to add a few blitzes and see if we can force some turnovers. I'd hate to see the D get conservative.

This defense is making the case of easily being the best D since 2008.

Wish the game just ended right now. So much positive feeling and promise in that second quarter.

I know what you mean. This sequence of drives, beginning with a bit of luck, rookies growing up before our eyes and then the scores.... were nothing short of amazing.

I've been thinking positive and had faith since day 1 of the season, but this is the first time we're actually seeing it click.

And...we're still missing most of our offense

I agree, thought our D looked really good, good coverage (all but the best players will get burned every now and then), but our pass rush has been noticeably lacking. Most plays where our secondary did get burned came from Freeman having all day.

Bills, Jets, Bucs (Manuel, Geno, Freeman). Hold up on the Kool-Aid.

Rocket science in the booth today.

I've heard them screw up so many times. Calling Talib a former Patriot instead of a former Buc is just one example.. They are horrible and shouldn't be on the air..

I hope the Bucs abandon the run. Their passing attack is predictable and extremely easy to shut down.

I expect several pick sixes by the defense if Freeman tries to thrown them back into the game. His passes are way off of the mark and inaccurate.

They will be tested against the Saints, Falcons and Broncos. However, they have finally stopped making mediocre QBs look like Joe Montana. It's nice to see. Now lets see if they can control/shut down the Manning and Drew Brees of the world. They do that and then I know they've got something special on D. Baby steps.

Even if they called him for hitting Dobson's face-mask, it was pretty clearly face-guarding, which gives the CB zero chance at making a play on the ball and is called PI three out of four times.

Though it was face-guarding, by the rules, that is NOT pass interference. We've heard that from the league for years. That being said, there WAS contact prior to the ball getting there..

Nice to see the offense make some play.

So how about that thompkins kid? Lol great pickup for a udfa!

This game is long from over. The Pats have to continue to play strong and keep the mindset that this is a close game.

Come on now, finish the game strong!

Wow, missed tackle by Mayo. Don't see that often.

Chandler Jones made Donald Penn look like he was moving in mud.

Chandler Jones. Wooo!!!

Kid's an animal.

Oh My God didyou see wilfork getting pushed around on that play... unreal
