"Draft Picks???" We Don't Need No Stinking DRAFT PICKS!!



None of these are moves that I, personally, would've made...But the Patriots have now secured the services of no less than 3 young Wide Outs, all 3 of who bring substantial raw Talent to the table, all 3 of who've shown consistent improvement in their young Careers, despite injuries that've hurt their Stock and've likely provided us sweet Bargains...and all 3 of who's Careers have positive Momentum and therefore almost certainly have their very best years dead ahead of them.

We might've done one Hell of a lot worse.

Personally...I'm getting kind of jazzed about our Chances.

My answer: All'f'm.

But that's nothing against any of those 3.

I just prefer big, meaty maulers ~ Split Ends ~ and only Jones of those 3 (or two!! ) could even be argued as being a Split End, and a small one, at that...Of course I'm using "Split End" stylistically ~ obviously, somebody's gonna line up at Split End on virtually every Play...even if he's 5'7"!!

Given Mad Bill's bewilderingly persistent insistence on doing things his way, though...I'm pumped!!

1 ~ I'm dialing it back as I redistribute my Time.

2 ~ All WideOuts are tricky in their Rookie Campaigns, but I would expect either of'm to finish very strong ~ and that's all that matters to me ~ especially Harper, who's a former QuarterBack that I'm very high on. It would be a risky approach, but any approach will be, at this point, because we've failed to draft & develop a PipeLine.

I'll be happiest when Julian signs a contract to stay with us. He's my sentimental favorite on the team and has been since his rookie season.

Also, other than Brady his is the only jersey I have of a player who could still potentially play for us next season.
