First...Faulk and the thread topic is about a different issue which was retracted in print by the accuser and the paper (Herald). You keep ignoring this.
The thread topic spans 14 pages. Many things were discussed, not only that Faulk is a dip**** for questioning the integrity of the Patriots or whatever else.
The suspicions that the Pats were taping prior to the memo are not suspicions. They, the Jets and others were taping. That is a fact. That is likely why Goodell wrote the memo to all teams to stop the practice which in his opinion was detrimental to competition.
Ah, the old two wrongs make a right argument. Tell that to the judge. If you want to view only the so-called proven evidence (which is quite convenient to many of the aspects of the 'Pats didn't do "much" wrong' argument), then look at it. Who else was busted for cheating?
That's right, nobody else. Nobody else. If you want to exclude anything other than what has been "proven," then you should refrain from using that argument again unless you want to apply it to the whole spectrum of issues surrounding Spygate. In other words, if nobody else was busted for cheating, then nobody else did it. It was never proven that anybody else did it. If you want to open that door, then you have no business so easily knocking down other aspects of the situation for lack of proof. Period.
PERIOD.
Three days gets your panties in a bunch! Ridiculous.
Goodell warned BB and the Pats that if he did not get every single video and it turned out later that there was not 100% compliance the penalties would be even more severe than his already over the top reaction. Were I in charge of the Pats I'd make damn sure that no employee had any copy anywhere, home, at work, on some server, in some off-site backup facility wherever before I bet my career and my franchise saying "That's all of it"
Yeah, because you should always trust the word of people that break the rules in the first place. They were NOT in the up-and-up, were they? This much has been proven.
This is an empty argument here. Your position is that since they were asked to do something, then they did it to the letter. Huh? Nevermind what YOU would do. How in the world would the NFL EVER be able to police the turning over of evidence? That's why nobody that is not a homer trusts the turning over of the tapes. Can you see that? If you are unscrupulous in one area, why should you be expected to be scrupulous in your honesty about said area after being busted for it? You can see how people can think that way at least, can't you? People don't usually hire defense attorneys just to get up there and tell the truth, you know. And I'm talking about PERCEPTION here...perception.
You say "Goodell warned BB and the Pats that if he did not get every single video..." Yeah, they also warned them not to make videos at all. How did that go?
There is a reason for all this ongoing talk, and the reason is not because everybody that disagrees with you, wants to dig deeper, or remains unconvinced are stupid people.
Nice job ignoring the NY paper link citing viewing of said tapes.
Your behavior here is thus is that of a troll with an agenda, not a fan discussing the issue and the facts.
I'm a fan of the game of football, not a Patriots homer. That's the difference here. The only difference.
