It's not saying much, but for me, as for most other people, a New England/Green Bay matchup in the Big Easy. It could be one of those shootout style games with both teams going back and forth. Out of all the top quarterbacks, I still haven't seen Brady go head to head with Rodgers (Flynn played in the 2010 game against NE). Not to mention, both teams have played each other there before in the big game. What's yours?

Not doing this, bad karma.

Pats/Seahawks

I want brady to throw all over them, and then while holding the Lombardi i want TB12 to walk into the seahawks locker room walk right over to sherman and say, "You mad bro?"

I'd love to see this team blemish the 49ers perfect 5-0 record in super bowls. A big fat 1 next to the 5 would be nice.

Vikings, I just want to see the pats win lol. If we're talking who I'd most like to see the pats beat it'd probably be the packers. Don't like Rodgers so would love to see discount double check walk off the field with the red white and blue confetti coming down.

Let's beat 2 teams first.....any Super Bowl opponent would be a dream come true for any Pats fan because it meant back to back SB appearances and a chance for redemption for the last two.

My dream SuperBowl matchup is the one the Patriots win.

Patriots vs. Eagles would've sounded good to me, but I guess that is not possible at this point.

Nah, I really have no preferences of the teams I can choose. Even the Vikings would give us some trouble I'd imagine just because AP looks superhuman right now and they're coming off 2 very quality wins. Just being in the SB again would be a dream right now, no matter who it is. If we are healthy in the secondary and at wideout (we seem to be so deep everywhere else and could maybe afford 1-2 injuries here and there) and of course Brady/Wilfork are there, I truly believe we are the only team standing in our way.

One thing that is amazing is that there can be no rematch if the Pats get to the SB

All the Pats opponents in all SBs since 2001 are not in the playoffs this year...No Eagles,No Panthers,No Rams,No Giants

That alone shows you not only how hard it is to get to the playoffs, but how hard it is to remain competitive year after year as NE has done and remained in contention while every NFC SB team the past 10 years has missed the playoffs at one time or another.

Personally, my dream matchup would be the Patriots winning the SB over whatever opponent they drew in a blowout, where I could laugh, smile, actually eat during the game, and breathe easily.

I really don't care if it were the Youngstown State Penguins at this point in time.

I'd like another shot at SEA, but WAS, MIN, or even ATL would also be okay with me too.

I would like to avoid GB if at all possible, and then SF next.

One obvious choice which is missing from the POLL is Pats-Washington. That would make a great story-line.

As it's indirectly because of the Redskins that I became a Patriots fan, this sadly-unlikely matchup would be very dear to my heart

FACT:

There is nothing a fan can do to hurt their teams' chances of winning. No bad omens or bad luck...that's kids stuff.

So stop with the "I don't wanna jinx the Pats....the next game is the one I wanna win" bull crap.

I'd like to see the Patriots face the 49'ers myself.

FACT:

Message board posts often involve some degree of tongue-cheek interaction.
The serious part of my post is I don't entirely agree that we can afford injuries to nearly any unit; witness the Ninko angst.

I would like to see the pats and packers. We could finally see if Rodgers is at the top with Tom. I think we could do damage to their o line.
