Official Super Bowl XLI (Bears/Colts) Discussion

Well at least we know the Pats were just about the only team in the NFL who had a shot at beating the Colts. Its a shame. 4 points and we were definitley champs two weeks before the Superbowl.

Man, if I were Dungy I would bench Manning for calling an audible and throwing the pass there. Run three times and punt if you have to. Chicago cant do a damn thing

Trying to secure the MVP for him, I think.

I am happy for Dungy, at least. With everything he's had to go through personally, he deserves it. Polian, not so much, but I can be glad for Dungy.

Can you imagine what Brees/Bush would have done to these Colts?

can u imagien what Peyton would of done to Fred Thomas..jeez

Grossman suks and Lovie knows it. The worst performance by a SB QB I can remember.

I feel bad for Grossman's parents -- they're Colts season ticket holders. :bricks:

Prediction:

Next years Nationwide "Life comes at you fast" commercial stars Rex Grossman.

Come on Peyton. It's yours. Stop *****ing. Try to look like a winner, willya?

Mark Anderson and Tank Johnson should stop dancing around because they've been pwned all game and the game is over.

Get ready for those endless headlines.

"Manning finally wins the big one"

"Colts win with a 32nd ranked run D"

"Vinatieri wins another one"

Going to be a long off-season.

I could care less. While the media is busy washing the nuts of the Colts all offseason, my team has $30 million in cap room a boat load of picks and I can't wait to see how we use it. Look we all knew that the Colts would win this game. Is anyone really surprised?

My post from page 1 of this thread. I hate the Colts, cant stand Manning, but this was the obvious way it was going to come down.

Re: Official Super Bowl XLI (Bears/Colts) Discussion

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I pick the Colts by 13, or more.

Watch for Manning's no huddle offense to rip the Bears secondary, and score early.

Grossman, having to play from behind, becomes the fumble crazy, and interception crazy, Grossman we have seen many times.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Grossman is pitiful. And, shame on Lovie for keeping him in when the game was still close, no thanks to RFex.
Cmon NEM, anyone can see a Rex Grossman faliure coming. It is nothing special to predict. It was inevitable.

I think the Bears have a better chance of scoring when their defense is on the field.

Manning's still whining.

If i was the Bears D i would want to fight too. Cant imagine the rage running through them.

Something tells me Grossman becomes that quarterback who barely plays over the next 8 years, and everyone forgets how awful he was. Then some team signs him to be their starter because, hey, he played in a Super Bowl once. He has one great game to open the season and the media begins hailing him as the Comeback Kid. Then he starts playing like he has this year and everyone remembers he was horrendous and totally lost the Super Bowl for the Bears.

Come on Peyton. It's yours. Stop *****ing. Try to look like a winner, willya?

seriously..and why are they throwing now ? to get manning the mvp

Superbowl 25

TEAM STATISTICS Buff. NY-G
Time of Possession 19:27 40:33

Tonight

Colts Bears
Possession 33:36 17:52

Bears only hope is Vinatieri comes up short on a 55 yd field goal and Hester runs it back for a TD.

I'm telling you, my "long snap it to Hester on every down" plan could just work. It's better than Grossman.

Manning could go 0-30 and they'd still give him the MVP. Indy just lost 2 minutes atleast by passing there. Stupid.
