I think I get what he was trying to say, but it was not worded well. I think he was trying to say that they (the Dolphins D) should feel disrespected because a team kept running the ball down their throats with the same play. In other words, they should feel like scrubs for allowing it and don't deserve respect NOT that the Patriots were disrespectful.

Or....I could be swept up in a rare moment of holiday spirit and am being blind to his whiny, pathetic comments.

I think he was trying to say "Please don't disrespect us by running the ball down our throats with Stevan Ridley again and again. Disrepect us by completing pass after pass to Wes Welker. It doesn't make me personally look as bad."

I'm angry the Ravens kept giving the ball to Ray Rice after the first series TD in the playoffs a few years ago.

I talked with McDaniels and Belichick and they completely understand. Next year, in Miami, they will only run plays that have no chance of working, and if any particular play results in a first down, they will never, ever run that play again, ever. Okay? All better?

I am so glad I grew up before the woosification of sports. I remember my 1st intramural hoops game in HS, losing 82-10. We were the talk of the school.

Best case scenario is we use a different play in the 2nd half.

You know its bad enough that you can't see an incomplete pass anymore in this league without the receiver looking at the official whining for a flag but this brings whining to a whole other level. They are going to get killed for this from every fan base and media outlet in the league, and rightfully so, friggin babies.

Im firmly in the group which finds it too absurd to believe he actually thought the Patriots did something wrong. He is saying that it pissed him off that the Patriots didnt "respect" the Miami run defense, because he is a primarily a run stopping defender.
