When you have a defense that is allowing 422 yards per game (31st), 38 points per game (32nd), 285 passing yards per game (27th), 137 rushing yards per game (27th), 8.0 yards per pass attempt (26th), an opposing passer rating of 118.3 (32nd), has only one interception (30th), 6 sacks (27th), and has only recovered one fumble, then yes, opposing offenses tend to not be intimidated by your defense.

Perhaps Gray should consider spending more time on fundamentals and schemes than tough talk about big hits if he wants to improve the league's worst defense.
