Two of the three incompletions were flat out brutal drops by very skilled receivers (Lloyd and Welker). Can't remember the third incompletion, to be honest.....
Look I love Brady but the throw to Lloyd was terrible. Overthrown and wrong shoulder. Toms playing awesome but that throw sucked. The throw that hit Welker in the face mask speaks for itself!
After watching the replay, I don't know if it is a blown call. He flew infront of the receiver without looking at the ball, but the contact did not prevent the receiver from making the catch, McCourty had inside position and that makes me think it is not that much of a break.
The defence looks totally different than in years past. They're faster, theres always several players around the ball ready to make the tackle, they swarm to the ball carrier.
Cant ever recall a D-end as quick and as fast as C jones on the Pats, that strip in the end zone was a thing of beauty.
Hightower is everywhere, Wilson is indeed a second round talent
Cunningham is playing very well
Of course have to mention VW and Love in the middle

the trhow to Lloyd was NOT overthrown, it was right on the money...your argument about the wrong shoulder is fair, but hes in the NFL, a pro WR, he needs to make catches on the wrong shoulder, cuz if that was on the right shoulder, I could have gotten to it
and the throw to Wes was right on the money, if he goes towards your chest or your head, your hands are right there, thats where a throw should be
ps. actually easier to catch a ball at your face rather than your chest

No, I think that was Llyod's fault, he should have just run under it and will have been in his hands. Similar to Welker's ...
Anyway, I also have the opinion that if Llyod does not catch it , it is usually the QB's fault, but in this case, all Llyods buddy.

Yeah, he made no contact in front, looked like the hand on the arm around the back made contact. But that's the kind of thing the regulars call PI by default especially on McCourty because they assume if he didn't turn his head yet broke up the play he must have had contact...
