This dude is the Ray Lewis of the Secondary. Longevity and leadership. That said, I'm glad he's out. The future of Denver's Safety position looks good though. You guys got the two best Safeties last year in Round 2 and 3, in my opinion. It's going to take them a couple of years but Moore and Carter should be serviceable.

This is a terrible story. Is there any hope of the epilepsy going away? Or will is control the best outcome?

It could go away...there's very little knowing really! Just gotta ride with it!

I've read reports that he will not be playing... Then again, I believe I read that on profootballtalk so take it for a grain of salt...

Absolutely love Dawkins. He's one of the very few players on other teams that I wish they had a ring by now. Still a force against the run, while a liability in pass coverage, but most of all the Broncos D will once again miss his tremendous leadership this Sunday.

I thought Chung and Spikes looked pretty good considering...I hope they both continue their development from that as they could be huge factors this weekend. The fact we didn't have them was a huge factor in the struggles we had later on in the season against the run.

Agreed on head/neck injuries. I myself picked up a concussion playing and didn't say anything. I went about every day business and managed to hit my head again...I had post concussion syndrome and contracted epilepsy. I can't play any more. I'm 21, can't drink more than a pint or two when I go out because of my medication to stop my seizures...I'm a class A walking example of why the NFL SHOULD be cracking down on what they're trying to crack down on.

Best of luck with your health - hope we can see a Pats win and no serious injuries this weekend.
