A true class act. He will be missed.

He mentioned in the interview with Portis that he had to come to terms with not winning a superbowl. That in itself is proof that the championship ring is the grail. Some players just do not know how lucky they are.

:rocker:

Personally, I say good riddance...not to the player, but to the person. He is a snide, condescending jerk to me, but I'm forced to live in the NY area and listen to his endless drivel on the local media outlets.

His entire act is scripted, probably even more than A-rod. I hope Bill Simmons prediction is correct and he is doing ads on TV Guide channel some day soon.

The man has a god given talent, and that is his athleticism.

But hey, that's just me

I feel the same way. He comes off as a pompous, arrogant know it all who thinks he is so much smarter than everyone else.

He is a class act on and off the field. Never celebrated like a tard. Was humble and comes across as a very intelligent reserved individual.

I agree. I watched him on the sidelines yesterday and just wished for more. But he has been articulate about his reasons and I respect that.

Best wishes for the future, Tiki!

I made a thread last year that I loved watching Tiki paly and I got hammered for it. Tiki was better than he got credit for IMO. Not a great back but a hard nosed gamer who was fun to watch.

You will still be able to see Tiki. Actaully you'll probably be seeing him more than ever. He's signed a deal with ABC's Good Morning America show and will also occasionally do stuff for ESPN. Hopefully he drives out that agenda-driven clown Mike Irvin.

Farewell. i've lifted with him a ton of times since i go to same place as he does in New Jersey. Hes a class act..a smart player and a team player most of all. Tiki has earned everything hes gotten and its clear hes a very respected player in the game..everytime he gets hit, the opposing team gladly gives a hand and many fans/players/coaches appreciate Tiki as a person and as a player.

Always seemed like a great player and person to me. What I will always remember him for is that anti-drug add to start the Super Bowl 36DVD that I can never fast forward through.

You must get duped a lot.

He signed with GMA? I didn't know that. Thought he'd continue on with Fox.
