Definitely the third most memorable spike by Brady with the Pats, IMHO.

The first was after he scored in the fourth quarter of the Snow Bowl to get the Pats back in the game at 13--10. I was worried for a moment that he had dislocated his shoulder.

The second was when he walked up to the line almost nonchalantly and took the snap and calmly spiked the ball with three seconds left in SB XXXVI after driving the Pats from their own 13 to the Rams' 31, prompting John Madden to look back on the drive and make a remark for the ages: "What Tom Brady just did gives me goosebumps." Look at the tape; he walks up to the line and spikes the ball as though he were practicing the two minute drill at the end of the second half in the third preseason game. Ice. We all remember what happened next.

Yesterday, definitely up there. Telling the Tebowmaniacs and the national media that "I am still around."

Im pretty sure they did it to run time off the clock, and it worked pretty well since they ran time off then scored.

I was supposed to be watching this game with an ex in Denver who claimed to want to get back together. She had some big talk about Denver being able to take down the Pats. Even told me it was a terrible decision for starting my pats D against the Broncos in my fantasy playoffs.

Well she canceled at the last minute.

But now I'm off to the fantasy superbowl again, and this gif does a perfect job of symbolizing how the Pats shoved it down Denver's throat. Think I may include it in a final text message to the woman.

It's really annoying when I hear the "exports"; who supposedly have been watching NFL for years, say how Brady learned the spike from Gronkowski when he's always done it with every single running touch down he's scored.
