I believe it was Ted Washington that Mawae put on the sidelines for around 6 weeks in 2003 with a broken leg.

That i don't remember if it was him or not....but the incident i am speaking of was at the end of the year (i think the last game before the playoffs) and Mawae cheapshotted seymore. I think it caused him to miss some games but play in the superbowl

Funny thing is I heard some Titan fan call up FOXSports radio show after the game and he was complaining that Brady played (since they already were in the playoffs he adds) and that they were playing cheap like letting Testaverde go for a TD pass. After that and listening to that crowd booing every call that was against their them I am convinced no one in TN knows anything about football.

Did anyone remind them that a cheap shot is an illegal play or intentionally trying to hurt someone?

Yep, I knew that would be misinterpreted. Maybe it's his age I don't know. But, he has spent more time off the field than on the last 2 years and I've just stopped being too concerned if he plays or not. As great as he has been he's not getting any younger.

Freak injuries, Michael. It's not like he's pulling hammies all the time or has croinic back problems. Just like Juniors injury. Those things happen to 24 year olds. These things sometimes happen in 3's and this was his third.

He didn't to my knowledge. He kept talking about what a great and wonderful influence he is on the "attitude" of the young Titans team. Ironically, he did this just a minute before Wade took the dirty shot on Rodney, which is something that Mawae would do. Cross really is borderline ******ed.

Mawae has had that rep for years...I wonder if he's related to Tom Nalen? Has anyone ever seen a picture of him? He is definitely the missing link between Neanderthal and Cro-Magnon...Just a fantasy but if I were playing the D line..I would have someone hold him up and "accidently" roll on him.
