I see the fact that Boston is a Sox-dominated town. Always has been, always will be. But seriously, find another town that doesn't have a dominant sport/team.
In any southern town, it's college football. In Cleveland, it's the Browns, no matter HOW well the Cavs or Indians are doing. In Detroit, it's the Red Wings, despite their recent basketball success. Even in a comparable sports market like NY, baseball is always superior to football, until the Yanks/Mets runs are over. It's just the way it is, and I'm just glad that the Pats have surpassed the Celts and Bruins, in terms of popularity. I remember not being able to watch games growing up because they were constantly blacked out, due to NFL tv rules, but the Celtics were hot and always on.
