I know everyone wants the injured INT prone favre but he has had good games vs BB's defense's and for some strange reason he plays well enough or things work well for him during all these difficult situations so i would rather have jackson ?
What do you guys think ?

Favre. He's capable of great plays, but as evidenced this year, he's even more capable of blowing big games. The pats can count on 3-4 turnovers with Favre. With TJ, there's more of an unknown there. He's much more mobile but not as good a passer. However, he seems more inclined to follow the vikings gameplan and play to the vikings strength.

Without doubt I'd prefer Jackson. If Favre is able to play then he poses a way bigger threat than Jackson.

Favre.

He can't run around like he used to. He's not as accurate as he used to be. And he's likely to throw some stupid picks.

TJ will do most of the same as above. However, he's a threat with his legs. Plus it means more Peterson running if Jackson plays.

well we counted on favre to throw 3-4 picks in 2008 too.. he just didnt do it vs the pats.

Favre and his massive ego will play. I hope someone breaks his friggin leg.

Honestly I think it's a win-win at this point.
We either get the hurting, old, anti-game plan Favre or the haven't started in years, always sucked Tjack.

I would have to choose Favre as a better bet though as he is more likely to throw the INT rather than take a sack!

Would you like it if I said I hoped somebody broke your leg?

Please grow up.

Favre without a doubt. He's a has been who has been living off his past achievemnts for several years now. Lightning struck last year and he finally had a good season and just couldn't call it a career. I would of gave my firstborn to have had the chance to play Favre and the Packers in 07. Ofcourse he chocked that away against the Giants just like he choked the Vikings chance away last season. Let him play, I'd like to see a nice 4 int game or a good snought bashing.

TJ? Is this guy suppose to be some scrambling qb like Kordell Stewart or Michael Vick? Not even half as talented. BB wrote the gameplan on how to stop these kind of dudes. No fear here.

I hate when the Pats have to face a team during a QB change. Harder to prepare for, and teams tend to rally around them. If Favre was playing decent I'd rather face TJ, but under the current circumstances give me Favre

We'll beat either one. I would rather beat Favre.

Personally, I like the Pats' chances either way, but I would rather face Jackson. Favre at least has the possibility to make big plays (not all of them good though). I think with Jackson, Childress starts calling conservatively and stupidily. The only thing that scares me about Jackson is that Childress may try to run Peterson 30 times.

Give me Jackson. This guy hasn't shown anything yet, and I don't think he offers the Vikes the big-play potential that Favre does.

Favre throws 2 picks to McCourty, forcing it to Moss. Tries to scramble late in the 3rd quarter, sacked by TBC and Vince, further aggravating ankle. Tavaris Jackson mops up, throws 2 more picks. Favre Retires Monday at a tearful press conference. Later, Jenn Sterger announces her own reality show Monday night at halftime of MNF. New show sponsored by Wrangler and Verizon Wireless.

I'll take Favre vs Patriots. It's in my script...

I'd much rather face favre, Jackson is mobile and he could have a career day like AJ Feeley and Kyle Boller had vs the pats as backups. Favre is hurt and he can barley move.

I don't know why this isn't unanimous, Favre. He has one of the worst qb stats in the NFL, and that was BEFORE the latest injuries. Thus, he will not run for any first downs, Jackson will. He will have trouble even moving in the pocket. His ability to make plays will be limited. His accuracy will be off from being inconsistent. Yes, Jackson hasn't been that good. But if he plays, he will not make be as vulnerable or make as many mistakes as Favre. The Vikings will run more with Jackson.
I hope Favre starts.

Favre throws picks but do we really have players known to intercept? I prefer TJ because Favre playing means he is most likely a better option than TJ

Glad you said that.

I'd rather see Favre. Like him or not, the guy is a legend and the game will be more entertaining with him playing

I still think there's a good chance we'll see both... I can see Farve starting, getting knocked out of the game because he really should have taken more time to heal up but his big ego didn't allow him to be reasonable so he re-aggravates his ankle, elbow, etc... then Jackson comes in for the rest of the game.

Like others have said, I like our chances either way.

I am prepared to see Favre because Childress doesnt have the guts to tell Favre your sitting down this one.I wish we had a solid pass rush to pummel this guy!
