Patriots Defense Has Had Plenty of Practice Against Moss
By: Ian Logue

Most teams usually need someone on the scout team to try and learn all the tendencies and idiosyncrasies to attempt to do a good job simulating a certain player. The Patriots have already had an opportunity even better than that preparing for Moss and the ...

I seem to recall from training camp reports Moss making plenty of spectacular, would-be-touchdown catches in practice. However if I'm not mistaken most of those that we read about were on Butler, not McCourty.

For obvious reasons the Moss vs Pats secondary story is going to be widely discussed; it would have and should have been the biggest story line if not for the latest Favre drama and Childress' various comments. Those topics are really overshadowing two other crucial matchups: Percy Harvin against the Pats secondary, and Adrian Peterson versus the Pats run defense. Despite their record Minnesota offers some serious challenges in preparing a game plan to defend against them.

Genius

And it's not like Randy Moss had years to practice against this secondary or anything

Nice article. You could kill 2 birds with one stone by writing "Moss has had Plenty of Practice Against the Patriots Defense" tomorrow.

Eh....Just Bruise him a little bit and bang him around a little at the LOS and he will be a non factor

Now let him roam around with no pressure and use our famous 10 yard cushion defense and he will have the game of his career.

Despite Randy's struggles with us this season, I'm a bit terrified of what a motivated Moss will do against a secondary that consists of the rookie McCourty, and Arrington/Butler/Wheatley/Wilhite. But I'm sure BB has a plan.
