last 2 games he has been everywhere and tackling everyone
last 2games he has been playing without the knee brace

Almost has a pick last night too. Wish he had caught it, for obvious reasons, but also because maybe we'd go a week without hearing "Mayo never makes any game changing plays."

This is good. No offense to Chung, but I'd rather see a LB getting the most tackles rather than a SS. Looked like Vince had a few too.

Now if only he could lead the team in tackles ... I know, it's not the style.

Looks like he is about where he was during his rookie season...

Looks slow and hesitant, IMO.

Wasn't aware of this--that's interesting.

I was gonna say, he got a pass last year (and should have), but the early going this year was leading to talk he had peaked. Very promising development....

I couldn't watch the game, but from stat sheet and reading, he seemed to be EVERYWHERE!

The last couple of weeks he's started looking more & more like the LB he was in his rookie year, if he had held onto the pick it would have capped a more than solid night for him to go along with his sack last week.

if i am right he dropped one in the cin game it was right in is hands too

Yes he was everywhere it seemed like there was two of him.

As well as Mayo, I noticed Spikes in and around a lot of plays last night too, now that is exciting to see both inside Linebackers being around the ball on most plays.

He had a so so game against the Jesters, and has been superb in the other three.

He actually had 2 go off his hands in the Cincy game, though one would've been a pretty difficult one.

Definitely around the ball a lot and could have 3 picks by now if he could catch well. Meriweather was similar to Mayo as a rookie, in the spots to pick it off but didn't have the hands yet and he's drastically improved his hands since then. Obviously a safety should have better hands and work at it more than an LB, but it'll be interesting to see if Mayo can sense all these near INT's and works hard on his hands like Meriweather apparently did after his rookie year.

He's playing very well and seems to be shedding blocks a lot better this year than in his prior years to me.

Besides Chung and Wilfork, Mayo has been one of the best players on defense thus far.

I love Mayo, goes good with everything but specifically turkey sandwiches!

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!

If you put Moss in Mayo's position in coverage, he has at least 3 picks right now. Mayo is a half step away from being a playmaker.
