According to Nick Caserio's presser this morning, #83 has passed his physical and will be a full participant in practice!:rocker:

Ohmygodholycrap!

You can't hold a good man down...:rocker:

Watching him forced to again prove himself worthy over the last couple of days exhibiting that same dogged determination that has become his trademark has been inspiring... If most of them (league wide) worked half as hard at their craft...

This just came up on facebook.

Fantastic news :D I bet WW will be glad to be out there :)

When he hangs them up they should bring him back as a 40 something special assistant to the strength and conditioning coach, perhaps a guy who travels every off season to spot check on players who ended the season on IR who are rehabbing on their own or guys who choose to do their own off season conditioning programs...and kicks them in the ass. :D

Our WR corp is going to be absolutely outstandind this season. They were going to be good without Welker, but with the additions from the draft and a healthy Welker along with Edelman having a year under his belt....we are going to light up the scoreboard in the passing game.

I just hope they don't forget to run the ball enough to keep teams kind of honest.

Never thought he would be back this fast.

I input Wes Welker into an anagram creator and the only thing it came back with was: Unbelievable

Best news all offseason.

I sure hope they know what they're doing and they're handling this thing correctly. As happy as I am to hear he's ready to return, I must admit that I am also very nervous about him out there taking contact so soon.

Obviously they feel comfortable for him being out there. Everyone's nervous but He's gotta do it sometime. If he were to wait out a year for this injury I'd still be nervous next year about contact. Hell be fine though.

They obviously do feel comfortable with it, but that doesn't/wouldn't necessarily mean they're correct about it. Also, I'm not suggesting that he should wait a year. I was just stating that I'm a bit nervous. If he gets out there and is fine, GREAT! I, and every other Patriot fan, hope for that. That's all, Moss.

put me in the happily nervous crowd. maybe if i could get to a tc and watch him a little. outside of that...

Unbelievable... how can anybody heal from such an injury so quickly? As happy as I am to see him back so soon (I did not think it would be before Oct/Nov), I just hope he's fully healed.

"I don't, I don't believe it."
"That is why you fail."

Never underestimate the strength of human will.
Welcome back Wes!

for the record he did not go against the D today he did other work during 11 on 11 work.

but don't forget the injury occured without contact.

IMO the rehab work he was doing with the trainers the last few days looked more intensive then the football drills he did today. But he probably got or will get that work in before or between practices also.
