1(22)- Sergio Kindle OLB3-4 Texas
With Brandon Graham off the board at pick 14 to the Seahawks. The Patriots have been itching for a great pass rusher. Sergio Kindle fits the system best.

Heres what i think of Sergio Kindle: He is a big, strong, fast, explosive hybrid LB. He is not as big as Shawn Merriman but a better athlete.

2(44)- Jonathon Dwyer RB Georgia Tech
The Patriots need a Feature back and need to get younger at the Running Back Position. I feel this guy can carry the load and take the ease off of our RB by committee.

Heres what i think of Dwyer: He is a DOWNHILL(not a dancer like maroney) Power runner. He could also play FB as well.

2(47)- Damian Williams WR USC
With Welker injured and lack of depth at the WR position. Damian Williams would be a great compliment to Moss and Edelman.

Heres what i think of Williams: He has reliable hands, Long stride running, and can run perfect routes. He has run-after-catch ability. Has been proven to be a consistent playmaker.

2(53)- Corey Wootten DE3-4 Northwestern
After Losing Seymour to a trade to the Raiders. The Patriots need to beef up the 3 man line.

Heres what i think of Wootten: Could play 3-4 DE or 4-3 DE. Has the Ability to rush the Pass Rusher. Though injured after tearing ligaments at the Alamo Bowl. He is 100% healthy and could make an impact on any team that he gets drafted by.

I used Draft Tek to make this mock draft. The draft is by team needs and whats available at their position. I will have a 2 round mock with trades before the actual draft.

I'm not a draftnik, but if the Pats were drafting based on need, this would be about as good as it gets for me. Nice effort.

Good effort and the picks are decent. I'd go with Alualu if he was still on the board instead of Wooten. I do think Wooten will be a very good player but he may need a year to bulk up and regain his health.

I am also a fan of Alualu and think he can be a rotational player at DE in our base defense.

Dwyer would need to go two rounds later for him to be to my liking. And I'm not too happy with Williams there, I could live with it but that's awfully high for him when I think other WR who are better (Benn, Decker, maybe Thomas) should be there still.

I'm with you. I just don't see (or like) Dwyer that high.
