Another article about Tim Tebow, i'm going to scream. Has anyone else had enough of him or is it just me? They are completely ignoring the two best QBs in the draft and focusing on a second rounder like Tebow.

it's just a good story. everyone says he can't be a starting QB in the NFL and he is trying to show everyone he can.

It's just you.

If I was the Vikings I would trade down and pick him in the high 30s. It gives him a year to learn while Favre goes for age 41. This kid will be a franchise qb. Look how much work he's down in 5 weeks, picture one or two years. He hasthe heart, the physical abilities, he just needs the mechanics

If Brady was age 36, I'd pick him at #44. It just doesn't make sense for us with Brady being 32.

Better get used to it. He'll be a Patriot after the draft.

You must not live in Jacksonville.

?

The Jags want him that bad they'll spend a first round pick on him? I see us spending one of our second round picks on this dude.

As stated in my previous post, I don't see how it would happen. Tebow would probably be on the bench his whole rookie contract since Brady is in his prime.

How do you see him here?

Who is? The Pats?

I would be really surprised if we drafted him. People think since he comes from Urban Meyer's spread, he's going to fit in our system well, so he's going to come here. Sure, BB and Meyer are good friends, but their systems are different even if it's still a spread.

I might be the biggest Tebow/Gators fan on this board... and I don't think the Pats should draft him.

Not because I don't think he'll be a good NFL QB, because I do. I just think there are far more pressing needs.

He could probably play fullback and special teams his first year while being groomed to be a QB. If Brady goes back to being TFB and resigns with the team we could always trade Tebow later on, if Brady gets injured or decides he really wants to finish his career with the 49ers we have his replacement ready to go.

I see Bill trying him out at TE/HBack. Plus he'll have some goal line plays at QB. I'm not saying we should spend a second round pick on him, I just have this gut feeling that we will.

Playing someone a FB is the opposite of grooming them to be a QB.

Decides to finish his career with the 49ers? What would Kraft have to say about his mama to make that happen?

Why would BB want to try him out at TE/HBack? He has no desire to play that position, and being very raw right now it's best he focus on one thing instead of throwing the book at him.

I could see Tebow wanting to do it because he wants to play, and I don't see the 2 positions as being mutually exclusive, Troy Brown learned how to play corner even though he was a receiver.

Also, Brady grew up a 49ers fan and dreamed of being drafted by them, he's also a West Coast person, spends a lot of time there and would probably prefer to play out there. Depending on how this season goes I could easily see him deciding that he wants to play elsewhere, the 49ers would love to have him as they will likely not have their QB situation set after next season.

I know, some people are so sensitive. :confused2:

It's not just you. Sam Bradford's agent feels the same way.

Jaguars desperately need to sell tickets. Look at how many fans showed up at his pro day just to watch him pass the ball with no defenders. Seems like a perfect fit to me. I'm guessing they take him in the second round. As far as the Pats go, despite speculation by Yahoo, espn, et al, they have enough other needs to use all their second round picks elsewhere.

Didn't we go through a similar discussion a year ago when so much of the media was convinced the Pats would draft Pat White?

With the pick they traded to New England? :singing:
