I LOL'd when I read the title of this thread. Then I realized that it wasn't a joke.

Bill Polian must have put King up to this.

Can't you see it now, the 2010 season opens in the Oilcan (Lucas Field) and the Colts proudly unviel their next banner, "Regular Season Team of the Decade". It will hang right next too their "Playoff Participation" banner. This of course will be after they go 1 and out again in the playoffs.

The Colts are not even close to team of the decade. This is more media crap they want the public to think. The Patriots no question had the better decade. They went to 4 SB's, won it 3 times. They went through crap in 2007 from the media about spygate and still finished 16-0. Brady's 50 TD's and Moss's 23 reception TD's. Nobody comes close. Even if the Steelers win it this year, the Patriots are still the team of this decade.

But I'm sure this "Regular season team of the Decade" must be the creation of a Colts fan.

Pretty amazing to consider that, with a succesful 2009 (14 or 15 wins), the Patriots will have won just about 3 out of every 4 regular season games they played in since 2000, meaning they AVERAGED about 12 wins a season. Ridiculous in the salary cap era. Respect to the Colts as well, but of course the Pats have the postseason edge.
