Clearly there was something that caused the Patriots to cut bait.

We may never know what it is, though.

OK, it does start to look like a trend. Since Deion Branch (and not counting this year, which is TBD), the Patriots have a remarkably poor record drafting offensive skill players. As in zero real impact players, unless you count Cassel.
