The New York Post expects the Giants to try to bundle one each of their extra second- and third-round picks to move up to the middle of the first round.
The Giants have 10 picks this year, but they won't have room on their roster for more than a half-dozen rookies. They have the ammo and the glaring need at wide receiving to attempt the move.

Taking a WR would not hurt us in the first 2 rounds.
We have about the same; I know BB will trade one or two back for next year but should be try to move up and get another 2nd rounder?
There seems to be quality in the 20-50 picks this year and they come cheaper than 1st rounders.
thanks

I think Mayo Clinic discussed a trade to 29 a couple of weeks ago. I would gladly take their 1st and 2nd to move down to 29. That would give us 29,34,47,58,60,89 and 97. A Kings ransom of players in the top 100.

Now if they are trying to get up to get Maclin or Bey we might have a problem. Unless they drop I can't see us as being a real trade partner.

I'd have to look at a draft value chart, but to me it doesn't sound to enticing to trade away a mid 1st rounder, say 15-17. The Giants have 45,60,91 and 100. To me this is solid 2nd round talent coming up until about mid to late 40's which has been rare these last several drafts.

Into the 50's this draft kind of looses some appeal and you are then hoping your scouts did their work. Is this guy what we want him to be?

Anyway I looked at a draft value chart and it would have to be both 2nds and both 3rds. pick 15 is 1050. 45,60,91 and 100 come out to 1086.

BothWashington and New Orleans at #13 and #14 are both looking to acquire extra picks maybe there is an opportunity for New York there.

I don't know. How many picks this year will make the team. It would be nice to get 3 really solid players this year( maybe 4)and roll some to next year if possible.
Nothing worst than just picking players if they have no chance to make our team.

Clonamery was the Giants' GM in the recent mock draft. He traded to 14 (I think) to pick up Jeremy Maclin. This seems highly plausible.

That's what I think they'll do (as per my answer in the poll) so NYG can get ahead of the Colts and get Nicks or Hayward-Bey

At #29 you'd still get Barwin or Beatty if he falls and could then trade one of those seconds out to 2010. You could also use the additional second to move up later in the second to go for the Safety/Guard/Tackle on your board

I still have a sneaky feeling for Mack at #29 and Barwin at #34

I am getting the same vibes and feelings, only exception is I'm feeling Laurinaitis and Mack/Unger in this trade scenario.......
