1st Round:

1.- Detroit - Matthew Stafford QB
2.- St. Louis - Jason Smith OT
3.- Kansas City - Aaron Curry LB
4.- Seattle - Michael Crabtree WR
OT is a possibility but with Locklear and Jones they can wait one more year, also they signed Houshmanzadeh so I guess they're trying to win right now
5.- Cleveland - Chris Wells RB
OLB is a possibility but Wells is going to be more productive in his rookie season that most if not all the DE/OLB convertion projects
6.- Cincinnati - Eugene Monroe OT
7.- Oakland - Brian Orakpo DE
8.- Denver (from Jacksonville) - B.J. Raji DT
TRADE: Denver's 18th, 48th and 114th for Jacksonville's 8th (1386 vs 1400)
The Bronco's def line must be upgraded so they start with a monstrous DT, Jacksonville does want a DT but after Harvey's holdout they don't want the 8th pick.
9.- Green Bay - Aaron Maybin DE/OLB
10.- San Francisco - Michael Oher OT
First great surprise, Singlentary falls in love with Oher's background and his winner mentality
11.- Buffalo - Everett Brown DE
12.- Denver - Tyson Jackson DE
13.- Washington - Andre Smith OT
For one BB there's a lot of Snyders
14.- Baltimore (from NO) - Jeremy Maclin WR
TRADE: Baltimore's 26th and 57th for NO's 14th (1030 vs 1100)
Mason is getting old, Newsome has never been afraid of moving up to get his guy.
15.- Houston - Brian Cushing OLB
S is a possibility, but there are several guys in the 2nd round.
16.- Philadelphia (from SD) - William Beatty OT
I don't think Shawn Andrews can play LT, this is a reach but we've seen this last year with Duane Brown and Sam Baker.
17.- New York Jets - Knoshown Moreno RB
Imagine all the jests fans when they passed on Sanchez
18.- Jacksonville (from Den) - Perria Jerry DT
They lost their mojo after Stroud departure, WR is a possibility but there are several guys in the 2nd round.
19.- Tampa Bay - Mark Sanchez QB
They got the "steal" of the draft
20.- Detroit - Eben Britton OT
21.- San Diego (from Phi) - Ray Maualuga ILB
22.- Minnesota - Alex Mack C
After all Faine and Mangold were 1st rounders, and Mack is a better prospect than them.
23.- New England - Malcolm Jenkins CB/S
24.- Atlanta.- Brandon Pettigrew TE
25.- Miami.- Clay Mattews LB
CB is a possibility, but we've seen this before, in 2006 the Tuna selected Carpenter ahead of Cromartie.
26.- New Orleans (from Bal) - Sean Smith CB/S
LB is a possibility but with Vilma and the surprising return of Morgan they can adress their secondary
27.- Indianapolis - Kenny Britt WR
When they losted Stokley, they drafted Gonzales, so now they losted Harrison and they draft Britt
28.- St Louis (from Phi) - Josh Freeman QB
TRADE: St Louis 35th and 103 for Philly 28th (638 vs 660)
There's no way Philly drafts twice in the 1st round. Bulger has developed the Carr's syndrome.
29.- New York Giants - Michael Johnson DE
With Osi, Tuck and Johnson, Kiwanuka may play as OLB
30.- Tennessee - Darius Butler CB
Vontae Davis is avaiable but they don't want another Pacman
31.- Arizona - Donald Brown RB
32.- Pittsburgh - Vontae Davis CB

2nd Round

33.- Detroit - Ron Brace DT
34.- New England - Connor Barwin DE/OLB/TE
35.- Philadehlphia (from St. Louis) - Jared Cook TE
36.- Cleveland - Larry English OLB
37.- San Francisco (from Seattle) - Robert Ayers LB
TRADE: SF 43th and 146 for Sea 37th (503 vs 530)
38.- Cincinnati - Louis Delmas S
39.- Jacksonville - Percy Harvin RB/WR
40.- Oakland - DHB WR
41.- Green Bay - Max Unger T/G/C
42.- Buffalo - Duke Robinson G
43.- Seattle (from SF) - William Moore S
44.- Miami - DJ Moore CB
45.- NYG - James Laurinaitis LB
46.- Houston - Patrick Chung S
47.- New England - Evander Hood DE/DT
48.- Jacksonville (from Den) - Alphonso Smith CB
49.- Chicago - Hakeem Nicks WR
50.- Cleveland - Rashard Johnson S
51.- Dallas - Pat White QB/WR
52.- NYJ - Jarron Gilbert DE/DT
53.- Phi - Paul Kruger DE
54.- Minn - San Derrick Marks DT
55.- Atl - Fili Moala DT
56.- Mia - Victor Harris CB
57.- Det (from NO - from Bal) - Jarius Byrd CB
TRADE: Det 65 and 129 for No 57 (308 vs 330)
58.- NE - Jonathan Luigs G/C
59.- Car - Lawrence Sidbury DE
60.- NYG - Brian Robiskie WR
61.- Buf (from Ind) - Chase Coffman TE
TRADE: Buf 75 and 110 for Ind 61 (289 vs 292)
62.- Tenn - Chris Baker DT
63.- Ari - Eric Wood C
64.- Pitt - Andy Levitre G/C

Lots of good stuff, I appreciate the well-thought out trades. But at #4, are you saying that signing Housh for big money alongside Branch's big money makes it more likely that they take Crabtree at the top of the draft?

Round 3

65.- NO - Rashard Jennings RB
66.- St - Herman Johnson G
67.- Kc - Alex Mcgee DT
68.- NE (from Sea) - Clint Sintim LB
TRADE: NE 89th, 124 and 162 for 68 (220 vs 250)
69.- Dal - Chip Vaugh S
70.- Cin - Leason McCoy RB
71.- Oak - Michael Hamlin S
72.- Jack - Jamon Meredith OT
73.- GB - Keenan Lewis CB
74.- SF - Joaquin Iglesias WR
75.- Ind (from Buf) - Nick Harris LB/S
76.- NYJ - Derrick Williams WR
77.- Hou - Shonn Greene RB
78.- SD - Phil Loadhoalt OT
79.- Den - Cody Brown LB
80.- Wash - Darryl Beckwith LB
81.- TB - Tyrone Mckenzie LB
82.- Det - Ramses Barden WR
83.- GB - Gerald Cadogan OT
84.- Den - Kevin Barnes CB
85.- SD (from Phi) - Louis Murphy WR
86.- Minn - Troy Kropog OT
87.- Mia - Mike Wallace WR
88.- Bal - Gerald McRaeth LB
89.- Sea - Captain Mynnerlyn CB
90.- Atl - Antoine Calwell C
91.- NYG - Cedric Peerman RB
92.- Ind - Marcus Freeman OLB
93.- Car - James Casey TE
94.- Tenn - Denelle Ellerbe LB
95.- Ari - Travis Beckum TE
96.- Pitt - Scott Mckillop LB
97.- NE - Shawn Nelson TE
98.- Cin - Mike Thomas WR
99.- CHI - Fenki Topou OT
100.- NYG - Cornelius Ingram TE

I'm assuming they'll cut Branch, big bucks for a lot of injuries is not what Sea wanted when they signed Deion.

I'd take branch back in a skinny minute. Would BB?

That depends. Will he play for peanuts or does he have to 'feed his family' ie CODE for back up the money truck.

He might be a good pickup, sure would make Tom Brady happy. Welker, Moss, Galloway & Branch ? wow.......BTW, nice mock, I'm a huge Jenkins fan ! If we can get Conner at #34 (I don't think he will be there), anything else will be gravy. Jenkins and Conner would possibly make a good defense, much better. I expect to see bigger things from Mayo, Crabel, Wheatley & Willhite this year, and adding top notch prospects like Jenkins and Conner would be insane. Also, let's not forget the signings of Bodden and Springs, this defense can be excellent ! Can't wait, 2 more weeks !

I really like this mock. This would be a better place to take Barwin. Malcom Jenkins would be a similar pick to Ty Law. Hood is my choice at 23. I do not think he will last to 47-if Pat's were able to get these 3 players, I would be thrilled. Hoods stock will increase each day the draft draws closer. He is the most experienced of all DL-man in this draft. 6'3-300lb's-great motor, natural rush moves, versatile enough to start in-but Pat's will pick him to take over De role for Seymour in future. He will get reps as a rookie-will give good minutes. I have Hood as one of the top 10 safest picks in this draft. He will be a good NFL player for years to come.

With all the guaranteed money he got from Seattle, he doesn't need to break the bank, however if he is healthy, a little dent in the bank would be in order.

It's an extremely nice draft for the Pats. I like almost all of your picks - at #58 I take Eric Wood over Luigs any day, and I like Ziggy Hood but probably take Jarron Gilbert at #47, though it's plausible that the Pats would prefer your guys. My only "problem" is that it takes a big leap of faith that everything will fall to us this way:

- Malcolm Jenkins falling to 23 is possible but not likely.
- Barwin falling to 34 is probably unlikely right now.
- Either Jarron Gilbert and Ziggy Hood falling to 47 is possibly but unlikely; both is extremely unlikely
- Clint Sintim falling to #68 and Seattle accepting that trade (the could probably use him at LB with the Julian Peterson trade) is unlikely

Cumulatively all 4 happening is extremely unlikely. Anything's possible, but it seems like a big leap of faith. But I'd be quite content if it worked out that way.

BTW, I think we have #170, not #162. But your trade with Seattle is already pretty lopsided in our favor.
