And on a related note, having let go his round the clock obsession of Patriots' hatred Greg Easterbrook resolves to devote his free time to actually learning the game of football and his craft as a writer.

And the football gods smile.

Unfortunately, I will not be there to appreciate his development as I swore to those same football gods last year I would never again voluntarily read his drivel.

I always thought his main obsession was "Earrrrnnneessttt Wiillllfffooorrrddd!!!" in some weird homo-erotic man crush thing. The anti-semitism was just icing on his ass cake of human mediocrity.

Now the Pats have been punished anew by finishing 11-5 with an unknown at quarterback yet being deprived of the playoffs. At this point, New England has been punished enough for its 2007 offenses; it's time for the football gods to smile on the Patriots again.

Good, because I'm predicting the Pats win the next 2 super bowls anyway. Just when the rest of the country thinks our Reign is officially over, we're coming back to piss them all off once again.

In other words, he can't get anymore (perceived) mileage by dumping on the Pats. How magmanimous of him. This guy long ago declared himself spokesman for the "football gods". I for one think it was those same football gods that commanded him to knock it off already.
