Speculating somehow it may be related to his concussion a few weeks ago...just a hunch..but it DOES stink...for the team and him...He was my pick to make it the year he was first in...I loved all I heard about him...a football player...and...I feel bad for Bubba

I think he's a very under-rated ST player. He has always struck me as being as tough as nails.

I wonder if this means that Ventrone is going to be IRed and that Mark Dillard will get activated.. Or maybe Darrell Robertson, who has gotten the Black Practice jersey a couple times since joining the team.

Ventrone had surgery on his jaw. Which means to got busted up on some play.. Usually happens when you take a helmet to the jaw. That's what happened to Woods.

Must have busted up his jaw pretty badly to keep Ventrone out for the rest of the season. If it had been even remotely possible to just play through it, I'm sure he would have.

I know Robertson got the Black Jersey once, I believe for Arizona...? Dillard did okay in preseason on teams, I'd be more inclined to use Price for Special Teams though.

Reiss mentioned both Dillard and Price..depends if they need more a WR or a S...as I think both will be good ST players.

Pats struggled in STeams once ventrone got knocked out in the jets game. that was a big factor which went unnoticed. He will be missed against the ST ace bills.
