We had 10 items at the auction table. The beginning bid on our lowest item was $50 - (Framed Signed Gino Cappelletti photo), the beginning bid on our highest item was $225 (signed Authentic Wes Welker jersey)
That kid is a huge Heath Evans fan - his mom drove him from Maine to come see Heath. Anyway, he bought that Jersey from the Heath Evans Foundation website. When you buy an autographed item to support Heath's Foundation he includes that inscription.
The passage, for those interested is:
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
The mission of the Heath Evans Foundation is to bring hope and healing to children and families affected by sexual abuse, so the above quote nicely summizes that idea of hope.
Still mad that I missed this. I wish I was able to make the trip all the way up there from CT. Looks like it was a really good time. Keep me posted whenever your next event is.
