PFT: Wilfork meeting with Goodell today

I agree it would be better for him to miss this game than the bills game

Could you tell me what exactly you saw?

it was a long aerial shot via the coaches tape with wilfork circled which schefter showed. Wilfork elbows/punches a bronco(i heard it was cutler later) and then raises both his hands and celebrates the on going play possibly after an INT.dont know what play it was.

If Wifork or any other player is an idiot and deserves to be suspended than so be it. But this crap of suspending/fining players for plays that are not even called during the game is crap. The NFL needs to stop covering up for these incompetent referee's. This is ridiculous.

whatever happens, anything more then a 1 game suspensino is over the top...

and we ALL know Goodell is over the top

I predict the ultimate sanction - the electric chair.

I'm going to predict a 1 game suspension and a $50,000 fine.

I've been opposed to the big fines on defensive players this year, and although I'm a Bronco fan, when you see what he did, it's hard to argue in his defense.

I mean, the play was over, and he walks by and elbows Cutler in the head, long after he was involved in the play.

That's just stupid.

Where did you see the video? Is it posted? It must be if random Broncos fans have seen it.

Sometimes fans claim to have seen something that they really haven't and it makes them look foolish - so by all means, please provide the link to the video or the TV station that's running it. It's surprising to me though that Broncos fans have all seen the video that apparently only the team footage carried, because it wasn't on the TV coverage.

I'd like to see it before I pass any judgement. (Unlike the Commissioner I don't consider myself Judge Judy and Executioner )

Understandable...saw it on the NFL Network...still looking for an online link so I can see it again.

But if you have Warren Sapp saying "Cheap, Cheap Cheap." You can be pretty sure it was

Roger Goodell must go. Pretty soon he'll have everyone in shorts and pulling flags.

If Wilfork threw a punch, then whatever happens is his fault. That's just idiotic, and everyone on the field has to know that you're letting your team down when you do that, because if any cameras catch you, you won't be seeing the field for a game when your team could have used you. Oh well, hopefully it's the Colts game that he's gone for.

Amazing it wasn't leaked by Goodell to his wife at CNN first.

I hope big Wilfolk smacks Goddell in the face.

Are you insane? What did Hines Ward get for breaking a guy's jaw? Exactly: $5,000. And Cutler wasn't even hurt. Don't be a fool.
