We might end up in the Super Bowl or not in the playoffs, but if there is one thing I have learned from watching Belichick, it is that the game after a game like this is always a solid win.

The two best games of the year (Patriots dominating) might be this next game and the game IN Miami. I still say we are winning 12 games.

Demolish with Cassel?I dont think so.I think it will be a close game.I do think the 49ers can put up 21 points but i dont know if we can do the same with Cassel.

Are you serious? Have you people still not learned anything about making pointless proclamations about how badly the Patriots will "demolish" teams. Two of our last four meaningful games have ended in devastating losses to teams that exactly none of us gave any shot to one. If we still can't check the hubris at the door, it's truly sad.

The only way this team blows out anyone is if the defense scores a lot of points.

I think they'll lose to San Francisco and just when all the fair weather fans are done jumping off the wagon or Tobin Bridge, and everyone in the media claims the season is over, this team will bounce back with a huge win against the Chargers and go on a winning streak from there.

lets not gloat here..iam not preaching anyone but lets just wait.i saw sfo game today stuck here on the west coast. they have a very decent passing game when o'sullivan has time (and we know our pass rush )and mike martz is no slouch. and given our offense hasnt scored more than 19 pts its going to be a very difficult game with gore in the mix.
so lets wait and see. we started threads like should cassel sit in the 4th quarter in a blowout. a touch too early to predict.
and to add to it..if we DO beat SF, do we suddenly become world beaters.? i think the next 3 game stretch can really define or break our season - @SF,@SD,DEN honestly.
just my 2 cents.

I will seriously be amazed if the Patriots score more than three touchdowns against the 49ers. Cassel reminds me of 2000 Ravens Trent Dilfer.

the 49ers have shown more of an offense (even if it was against weaker teams) than miami ever did. unless this was just a fluke peformance by the defense, then we're in some trouble after the bye, imo.

bad games happen, it's how the team responds which is the key concern. i know it's early, but the SF game is a must win. they need to erase the miami game and beat an otherwise average team on the road.

Really, the way things are going a couple of guys will probably get injured.
I'm guessing there's going to be a lot more natives with broken ankles than players with injuries.

Yes. It is key, and will set an important tone for the season. Wash this fecal bolus out of our mouths with a nice win mouthwash!
