I remember you saying that a season ago, too. Silly.

I wasn't even going to respond to it because of exactly that. ;)

Re: Your perfect receiver

Someone has to say it; how about Deion Branch?

Right now I will stick with our crew, but will know better around week 10.

Your Fired.....

I agree with you. If ALL of these five live up to their suggested potential, I believe we have a receiver corps that is unmatched, and deeper than any team in the league.

I can't agree more. If they didn't suck, they'd be good!

You are forgetting the receiver BB tried to sign (2) seasons ago:

Derrick Mason

Had he accepted the offer we wouldn't have these WR "issues" right now.

One of the most underated WR's in the league or under-hyped I should say.

Best in the league? That's a joke.

There's being optimistic, then there's just being an absurd homer. You crossed the line.

Re: Your perfect receiver

This is NEM being NEM. He is so far passed the line that he cannot even see it.

Holt........................

Torry Holt or Anquan Boldin. Boldin is big and physical, and Holt plays great in the playoffs. Neither seem to be too primadonnay for WR's.

Hines Ward would be my thrid.

I would not want Marvin Harrison. The guy hates to be hit and absoltuely disapears during the playoffs. Steve Smith is great but he is to much of your showy, me first, egotistical WR like Chad Johnson and Terrell Owens. I would still want him on my team because he is not as bad as those two, but I would chose the three first.

Holt is an easy choice for me. If he acted like an idiot more often (TO, Smith, Chad Johnson) he would be regarded as the best WR in the NFL.

Hines Ward, Boldin, and Andre Johnson would also be high on my list. Marvin Harrison would have been at the top a few years ago. I think he is still very good but he's lost a step.

Actually, I love Marquis Colston. No one is is making less then he is and he plays with heart and dedication. Anyone who says you can't expect a lot from a rookie should watch him play. Plus the whole undrafted free agent is the Patriots style, I love this kid and hope he starts getting the praise he deserves as being a better rookie then Bush right now. And quite honestly in my opinion and I am gonna get reemed for saying this, he is beating Maroney as ROY right now.

He is indeed a great surprise. I have him on my fantasy team as I can use him at TE, too. You gotta love guys like that!

Yeah, he was a perfect fit here. He wasn't just another nobody like Givens or Patten. He is a good player. I won't get into whose fault it was that he's gone, but he's already sorely missed.

Re: Your perfect receiver

Hines Ward, Anquan Boldin, Torry Holt, Derrick Mason, Deion Branch.

A. Johnson Texans
L Coles Jets

As someone on TV once said, "The line is just a speck to you now!!"

FWIW, Reggie Wayne. I have the perfect receiver on my team. He does it all.

Otherwise... Steve Smith

I Like steve Smith and Hines Ward!

joe horn...santana moss...coles...holt...boldin...roy williams...fitz...chambers perhaps...

what...no love for terry glenn??

Chad Johnson. Now that the Pats have decided to step up the comedy with the latest Polian thing, I think he'd fit right in.

Plus the possibilities of the two Chad offense are dazzling.
