Since we go over the subject every week, maybe we should just have one thread for thoughts about which WRs will be on the roster the balance of this season, and in 2008 as well.

I think tonight's game (and for that matter his use the prior couple of weeks) takes any wind out of the "cut Gaffney" sails. He's a darned solid #4 guy for us.

We're very healthy right now, which makes it costly to find a roster slot for Troy. On the other hand, he might be just as good at CB as Jackson-the-CB. And it's obvious how important having a Welker-style receiver is; Troy's still the best backup for that role we have.
 
Actually, the cut gaffney talk was put to rest in last year's playoffs when he made numerous huge catches and led the team in receiving.
 
yea, no one wanted to cut Gaffney. He's a steal at his price. Next year I'd like to see him and Jackson battle for Stallworth's #2 spot opposite Moss.
