Who Will Be the Browns' QB?

Point taken on your last sentence. However does forcing Hanie to be the decisive factor, mean he should still have a good game? He can make some first downs and such, but that doesn't mean he should have a career day against us.
What I am saying is that BB will play a style of defense that gives away the pass more than he normally would, so that they are tempted to throw, but at the same time, he will take away the run.
By doing this you leave him plays to make, some he will, some he will not.
Its almost as if you play a basketball team that has weak outside shooting but are strong in the paint and almost ignore the outside shooters. They will have a career day, but it won't be enough because they aren't good enough to beat you.
After that happens, to react as if that means a good outside shooting team will tear you up, is out of touch with the reality of what happened.

Cleveland Browns' Jason Campbell and Brandon Weeden not cleared to practice yet, starter for Patriots named later in week | cleveland.com

Browns coach Rob Chudzinski announced Wednesday morning he'll wait until later in the week to name his starting quarterback for the Patriots, because Jason Campbell and Brandon Weeden have not yet been cleared to practice.

They've been cleared for activity, but not for practice, and Chudzinski doesn't know when they'll get the green light from the independent specialists.

In the meantime, he'll get Alex Tanney and newly signed Caleb Hanie ready to face the 9-3 Patriots in Foxborough, Mass.

He said he can wait until Friday to name his starter, or go up to game time "if we have to.''

Cleveland Browns at New England Patriots: Who will win and by how much? (poll) | cleveland.com

From the comments section:

Well, we can write in the Browns at 0 points with whichever poor waiver-wire scrub plays QB. Pick a number for the Pats. Depends on how merciful Belichick is feeling Sunday.

Depth issues in the secondary facing Tom Brady, starting a practice squad QB against Belichick, on the road in Foxboro against a team fighting for playoff homefield advantage, and a locker room where the units are pointing fingers at each other? Pats 14+.

Yes Pats 14 + .... plus 30 more than 14

I voted Browns by +14 because we're signing Tebow! Plus, it's all been a strategy to beat Bill. Float like a butterfly and sting like a bee. We're gonna rope a dope em.

What is the NFL record margin of victory? The Pats have a good shoot at breaking a record next Sunday.

Not having a QB is a good thing based on the last 3 weeks. Sign Josh Cribbs, he doesn't fumble and can get 2 yards per carry at QB. Maybe Gordon can QB but I wouldn't want him to get hurt behind our line.

The over-under should be well into the 70's- the browns may score 6

Who will win? Is this a joke article?

Patriots by 60

I believe that Jason Campbell returned on Thursday, so I am assuming that he'll be the guy.

If I'm the HC of the Browns, I'd probably have to feel that Campbell and his ability to scramble/keep plays alive would be the best way to approach his gameplanning; specifically after watching some tape of our previous games this year.

Dang. The Browns went from starting a bottom 3 QB in the league Sunday to a mediocre veteran. Campbell might actually hit Gordon/Cameron when their open.
