What would qualify the Colt game as a success?

400 YDs+ and 5 TDs for TB12. Wouldn't mind seeing him take a run at the MVP with all these weak teams coming up. It might not be completely locked up by Rodgers if something happens to him...

Three-touchdown lead at halftime.

All key bstarters done by start of fourth quarter.

Polian takes a swan dive out of the press box.

Taylor Price with over 100 yds receiving. :D

1. A win by one or more points

2. NO injuries

3. Playing time to show case Hoyer

I'll take 1 & 2 and I don't care about Hoyer be showcased.

And Bill Polian stepping in a pile of dog poop on his way out.

Win and no major injuries. Who gives a **** about anything else

The Patriots blowing out the Colts and the defense keeping them under 250 total yards of offense.

That's all they need to do Sunday. I'm expecting mostly vanilla schemes too. It'll be a success if the players continue to improve also; create turnovers, capitalize on the Colts' mistakes, avoid penalties, and just play tight.

At least a 35 point margin of victory.

1. No injuries

2. Walking away with a win--don't care if it's by a lousy point

3. Another good showing by the defense; with continued good improvement on pass defense-- and a good, strong pass rush

I'd be ecstatic....

pats win....

Wilfork has a rushing/passing/receiving TD

brady 20 tds

taylor price/ochocinco 40 receptions each 5 tds each

anything short of that and this team sucks absolutely awful.

I'd like to see the crowd yell "Cut that meat!!!!" and watch as some guy in a leather stitched mask comes running onto the Colts sideline and chases Manning all over the place with a revving Stihl chainsaw....(is that too over the top???)

Colt game success?

Bill Polian half gainer from the press box.

a success? Nothing of course!

1. if the pats win, they should've. Not much of a success beating a team that's giving the game away.

2. pats lose, another failure. They should've won.

3. anything less than scoring a TD on every drive and holding them to zero is a failure.

If option 3 is accomplished that's a fail. We'll be hated as the scumbag, heartless devils of the NFL for such a historic beat down against a wounded foe. That'll rouse enough flags from the zebra's to knock us out of the play offs before half time of game 1.

chalk up the loss, forfeit and take a by week. maybe that's a success unless the 2 weeks off works against them again.:bricks:

Let's not beat around the bush, would the Colt game qualify as a success as long as we win and there are no injuries? Even if the defense surrenders 35 points in a 38-35 win? Or do we need to win by 20?

There is little to be gained in a game against a winless team this late in the year.

Therefore, what needs to happen in order for this game to qualify as a success in your opinion?

For me, as long as we win by double digits I'll be satisfied.

this looks like it was posted by a team in college thinking about bcs rank haha

Agree with all above, but I want Ocho cut, so he can finally get out of the Patriots system and pursue his dreams as a reality star...

Good luck with your future wife Ocho -- I won't be following you on twitter.

In a stat driven world, there is a need to quantify a win to guage success.

But at the end of the day only one thing is important, winning.

a win is a win, but i would like to see the defense hold them under 20 points and 400 yards

Wrong thread. That is the answer to the question what does it take to qualify as a successful game for our game thread posters...every week.
