.....

The offense needs a starting quality guard or two,......

AMEN AMEN AMEN!!!!! and I'll throw in an grade to the center position.
Also a back that can pickup a blitz without getting run over. Maybe
a true Full Back. A good FB could also help the run game.

In my book the reason why PATs
1. Lost to the Giants in the superbowl
2. Lost to the Ravens
was because to the OLine ... Period!

PATs Oline is great for most of the games they play. This leads to misleading
stats. But when PATs face a good defense the Oline weakness is very
evident.
It also means the Defense has to do much more than should be expected.
Lots of three and outs means a defense it going to get tired.

For me fixing the Oline should be a top priority.

If this offense was clicking the defense even as it is now would be adequate.

There are some appealing ufa WR's out there. Antonio Bryant has great numbers despite Tampa's bottom-of-the-league status. Bryant may want out of the cellar. Malcolm Floyd of SD may be available since SD will have difficulty signing both V.Jackson (their #1 priority by most accounts) and Floyd. Floyd is 6'5", 225. Either would take the pressure off Moss next year and are young enough (29 & 28) to be productive for seasons to come.

If you are looking for a pass-rushing OLB/DE type, Dumervil is really the only one out there but without a CBA he is a RFA and will command big $$$ as well. There are some good ones in the draft, namely Kindle & Muckleroy (TX)
and Graham (MI). One or two may be around in the 2nd round.

I wouldn't mind seeing Bryant in here. He's had some attitude issues in the past but he seems to have grown up and gotten over them. He would be dangerous in this offense. Not so sold on Floyd. OLB will probably be addressed in the draft. Dumervil will definitely be re-signed by the Donkeys.
