Tough Loss

We're living in the shadow of 2007. We need to get out of that mentality. Once Tom is back 100%, we'll be fine. We're averaging what - 16pts a game given up? We should win those games, and we will as the season goes on.

Losses happen. Heck, we can still go 14-2 at this point...

I think MANY fans are in that mode...in teh shadows and such...so it's being spoiled incredibly...so that a loss seems like a mountain...heck it wa sa field goal loss...one wonders what it would be like if it was by 3 TDs...which is WHY it's so overboard.

we're a much better 3-2 team than we were last year. in 08 we were 3-2 thanks to the defense being embarrassed off the field by the phins and chargers. our biggest question coming into the season was the defense and so far it's been more than effective. people need to stop throwing brady under the bus. he knows what he has to do, and I think the least we as fans can do is show some patience with him

I posted in another thread this point: fact is we are playing against a coach who knows thoroughly all our offensive plays and Brady's strategies once Wes and Moss are blanketed and also knows that we don't have a third WR who poses a significant threat.

So, they did an excellent job of throttling our O. Kudos to them for a great execution.

What pains me is that this is the second time in the last five games that our O was shut-out. A FG at least would have made it a two score game and forced the Broncos to panic and hurry.

Hopefully this zero-points-in-second-half stopped last evening and never occurs.

well the last time the team followed up being shut out the second half they returned the favor when they did it to the falcons
