Tim Dwight signs 4-year deal with NY Jets

Four years....that seems like a lot for him.....at 31...a good deal for him..maybe not for the Jets. VERY hard to look at multiple year contracts for those on the downside and over 30.

I liked Dwight. He was steady, and a good punt returner.

The 4 years are iffy. The Jets signed him for a $750k bonus, which they can spread over 4 years if he stays.

I did too, I wanted him back... but FOUR frickin' years? Hope they get some jet packs for the weelchair. :)

which is what is going on..other teams over spending...and paying good monry for many years..4 years??? I mean..at 34 what will he be playing like?? He was injured some last year...but???

If that's the extent of the signing bonus its not really a 4 year deal. Well, I suppose it is if he plays well for 4 years but I think Dwight's best days are behind him. Still, I would have been glad to have him back as a 3 or 4 reciever.
