Four years....that seems like a lot for him.....at 31...a good deal for him..maybe not for the Jets. VERY hard to look at multiple year contracts for those on the downside and over 30.
Further proof Mangina is in over his head.
I liked Dwight. He was steady, and a good punt returner.
The 4 years are iffy. The Jets signed him for a $750k bonus, which they can spread over 4 years if he stays.
It's official: Today is Black Tuesday.
I did too, I wanted him back... but FOUR frickin' years? Hope they get some jet packs for the weelchair.
which is what is going on..other teams over spending...and paying good monry for many years..4 years??? I mean..at 34 what will he be playing like?? He was injured some last year...but???
If that's the extent of the signing bonus its not really a 4 year deal. Well, I suppose it is if he plays well for 4 years but I think Dwight's best days are behind him. Still, I would have been glad to have him back as a 3 or 4 reciever.
