Was listening to Sirius radio today and they were talking about how some on the newly drafted players are having the jitters and nervousness about playing now in the big leagues (NFL)
Paul Poszluzny LB of the Bills was one of those mentioned and it was quoted as him saying when he got into the Superdome last week he was awed and very nervous and a bit star struck by what is now the NFL and he simply played awful according to the announcers,I did not see the Buf-NO game.
When Paul was asked why his first preseason game was not too good he said he was a bit nervous and not quite himself.
I still believe we need to give these guys a little time to be ready for the biggest part of thier life but if they accept the Millions of dollars that are thrown in their face in April,I think they should be more than ready to play in their first game, preseason or not.
Its time for the college boys to put the pacifier away and start to play for what is expected of them when they are given the Million dollar contracts or they will go down the path of those who have been there before and exited the league quickly.
For Paul and whoever feels nervous I say,Grow up and be ready to play NOW,You have the Millions, now show us why you earned the money.
