Why? He's 3o years old and has averaged 44 catches a year in his NFL career. About the same and Brandon LaFell over his first four years in the league and who is younger and who is not being asked to be the Pats go-to receiver.

Not counting the year he went on IR in the first game, Amendola has averaged 61 catches a year for his four years in the NFL.

Why do you like James Jones, but not these two Pats receivers?

Looked like a lot of single-high safety on that possession defensively. Patriots look to be playing the run and daring the Raiders to pass. Problem is the run got good yardage on a few of those plays.
