Wondering why sometimes when I move the cursor over a post the first few lines pop up in a window, and sometimes this doesn't happen? Being logged in doesn't seem to make difference.
Thanks, bish

If you slowly and deliberately move your cursor over a thread title a few lines from the opening post will pop up every time.

That's what usually happens, but even at this moment, it ain't happening. That feature is one reason I prefer this board to other Pat forums, I can get a preview of what is written to see if it's worth clicking on.

It's working on all the threads for me at this exact moment. What browser are you using? Maybe that has something to do with it?

(I'm using Firefox)

One possibility could be that the thread or threads that you rolled over were started by someone on your "ignore" list. If they were, nothing pops up when you roll over it because you told the site to ignore their threads.

It sometimes turns off for me, too. It's annoying, I like the feature for the same reasons you desbribed. All I can really do is close my browser, open a new one and start again hoping it'll work this time. I use Internet Explorer.

Thanks for replies, folks. Using IE and have no one on ignore.
