Sammy Morris was asked what happened during the play that Brady got injured and here's his response:
"Pollard came in and as I was trying to let him get back up . . . . "
Trying to let him get back up? When you have a player down don't you just continue to keep him down? Either continue hitting him or sit on him, but don't "let him get back up" until the play is over.
Perhaps he didn't want to get called for holding??? I don't know.
I realize it wasn't intentional and Morris had a great game. I'm just looking to place blame somewhere and by letting the player get back up Brady was injured. Sorry, I'm just venting and that quote struck me weird.
