Saints vs 49'ers Game

Could this quarter have gone any better for SF?

man, Rodgers has got to be the worst QB actor. lol.

I've always suspected this is a downside of pure return specialists...if it's all they do, they want to "make every touch count."

And to think I said this after the LAST kick return.

Haha, this is hilarious to watch so far. Saints really to look like a completely different team outside their little protective dome.

Everything that could have gone wrong for the Saints is going wrong, kinda feel like our game vs the Jets last year.

this is liek the pats-ravens 09 playoff game. once it rains it pours the turnovers.

Just what I was thinking. It's like the Saints weren't ready.

I hope that the our home crowd is as jacked as this 49er home crowd is right now. A home team can feed off of that kind of energy.

The Saints are just doing what the Pats have done their last three weeks of the season, they want to spot the opponent a sizable lead in the first quarter so they have a false sense of security only to whip their arses for the final three quarters. At least that is what Sean Payton is hoping.

Not easy on the road and the 49er defense is legit..

49ers are going to have to settle for the FG try. Should make it 17-0, though.

And there it is. 17-0

Plus the Niners get it at the half.

Niners are playing for more than just a playoff game in my mind they are playing for defense as a whole in today's NFL. In an era where rules have been changed to aide the offensive side of the ball they are facing a record breaking offense with a team centered around an elite D.

The world is watching and if they win everyone will know having an elite D still carries as much weight as having an elite O. People have forgotten that D stills matters with all the glitz and glamor that comes with the big play offense.

17-0.....this bodes well for the Pats. continued home team dominance:D

Despite the Niners' start, it wouldn't shock me if settling for a FG there comes back to haunt them.

Good stop for N.O. -- 17-0 seems more manageable than 21-0...

Oh yeah. That Peyton guy is seeing what he needs to do, watch the Saints drive for a score here.

One simply can't enjoy one's Chateau Brion while making noise.

I agree. Just saying.

BTW, if the Saints get blown out, do people start to question Drew Brees and/or the Saints like they are all doing with Brady and the Pats and their playoff record? The Saints lost to a crappy Seahawks' team in the playoffs. Granted Brees was the lone bright spot of that game.
