Have you not been watching the games. Teams roll away from him or block him with like 3 guys. If the guy wasn't a force you'd block him one on one. Lol! Teams know better than to do that.
So what your point? Mathis and Freeney did not have any sacks in last year's AFC Championship game which counters your argument altogether. Quit posting crap on the New England Patriots board when the FACTS dictate otherwise.

My whole point is Brady isn't going to be sitting in the pocket like a lil princess waiting for someone to get open.

The Patriots wide receivers will be wide open in two seconds against those pathetic Colts cornerbacks.

Perhaps unless they go to a max protect scheme?

Okay, we'll see. I'll have a bowl of crow waiting for you on Nov 4, 2007 @ 7:30pm Eastern Standard Time

Either that or run a draw or throw where Freeney used to be. That's how the Pats play against us. On another note Moss has never had a good game in the Dome.

Too bad that's a statement of opinion and not a fact.

How are they pathetic?
The two current cornerbacks for the Colts could not beat out last year's starting cornerbacks for Indianapolis, both of which departed via free agency this year. How many premier wide receivers have the Colts defense faced this year? Andre Johnson .... nope. Javon Walker .... nope. Randy Moss will torch the Colts secondary.

You're the one talking smack on the New England Patriots board. Every time you present an erroneous post, the FACTS are thrown right back into your face. As your protecting the quarterback, I'd worry more about a rookie left tackle than a seasoned one with three Super Bowl rings "under his belt", so to speak.

The shoe really is on the other foot. The Patriots have the team/QB putting up sick numbers/stats and are the annointed ones. The Colts are the defending Super Bowl champs and are barely getting any love.

Not really. The major difference is that our QB has already won 3 Super Bowls along with 2 MVP awards, so he knows what it takes to win under pressure. The biggest difference is that he is now showing he is BETTER than your QB in every aspect of the game !

Please give me the list of players that won a starting job at corner as a rookie(or second year player)? The guys that started ahead of them were both allowed to leave via free agency due to the fact that Hayden and Jackson were on the team and going to be the starters.

If you go by the arguement that someone was starting ahead of them means they suck, then Brady must have really sucked since it took Drew getting hurt to get him into a game. See how dumb that is?

Um, one of our "backup" corners was playing safety last year when Bob Sanders got hurt. The reason he was at Safety was because he had experience playing it in college. Also the Colts don't play young guys if they don't have to. David and Harper knew the system from previous seasons. Besides our sucky "backups" came up big in the playoffs. Marlin Jackson picked off Brady. Hayden got a pick 6 in the super bowl.

The reason we drafted Jackson and Hayden was to replace those guys when we let them go in the off season. Jackson was a first round pick so of course they won't have him on the bench for long.

...and Welker and Stallworth, and Watson...

Manning has 1 ring and 1 Super Bowl MVP to go along with his 2 league MVPs.

What we are now seeing is that how bad the Patriots were at drafting wide receivers!

It's a freakin' joke so do go losing it.

Since you avoid the real reason why those cornerbacks departed, the Colts could not afford them due to a financial restriction called the SALARY CAP. Ever hear of it?

Well they do have to matchup again Marvin, Reggie and Dallas every week.

Pats have rarely drafted receivers high. CJ was a second rounder; Deion the same. Givens was a great find in the 7th round.

Nothing to do with it dude. Jackson and Hayden were picked in the 1st and 2nd rounds in 2005. They were menat to be starters. You don't spend high picks for back ups and special teamers. They are both bigger than the guy they replaced. Jason David is robbing New Orleans blind. Did you see the season opener and how Peyton absolutely abused him? Current Colts starters have 76 tackles and the departed ones have 42.
