The Saints are going to have to make a big decision after the superbowl about him. He is due 8 million or so next year. I know that he has not lived up to the hype coming out of college as the next great back of all time, but I think his skillset would be perfect for the offense that the Patriots run. He is an excellent special teams player first and foremost, and the patriots flat out sucked on returns last year.
For the Patriots, he would not be asked to be the everydown feature back. I know that was what his role ended up being in new orleans as well, but here I think he would be given a few more carries and could really be a threat in the passing game. He would almost be the bridge between Maroney-or whomever is the 1st back on this team, and faulk. Come next year he takes over faulks role full time.
Thoughts?
