Patriots do not control the headsets. The NFL does. I once had a woman from the concession stand in my headsets at Fed EX field. - Mills

Information on radio issue for Steelers coaches. There was a "grounding issue" and Pats radio broadcast was "bleeding in" to headsets (1)

(2) It did not cause communication to be lost, I'm told, just impaired. They are still gathering "information" I'm told.

(3) Frequency issues are not uncommon at games.

The Patriots coaches are having the exact same issues, I have just been told.

Hope Rodney puts an end to this **** and reports the real story.

NFL strikes again.

Preventing such interference — or clearing it up quickly — is the job of one of the NFL’s unsung heroes: the gameday frequency coordinator. These specialists track and manage hundreds of frequencies and thousands of in-stadium frequency-dependent devices. They also account for interference from sources outside of the stadium, such as TV stations and special events.

Curran reports that the Patriots were having the same issues as the Steelers in their headsets. Wonder why NBC isn't saying anything about that.

That was a rhetorical question. LOL
Tafoya did briefly mentione pats lost communication too and it's a level ground.

IIRC, Belichick has actually mentioned having similar problems in Super Bowls, especially at the very end. Fact is your have tons and tons of electronic signals, radio signals, satellite signals, TV signals, etc, all in a very confined space.

Add water and something like this is hardly surprising.
