Why? Why? Why? Why? WHY? WHY?! WHY?! are we still talking about Spygate? PLEASE GOD MINI-CAMP CANNOT COME SOON ENOUGH.
Does nobody realize by taking this garbage and posting it on patsfans that we are giving guys like Florio hits and keeping him employed?
WHY, WHY, WHY?....are you bothering to post in this thread if you don't like it?
wasnt this same content posted in some other article -bostonsportsmedia ..was it ?
this PFT piece is a direct lift off of that.
EDIT: here is the piece he copied from http://www.bostonsportsmedia.com/20...aceful-episode-in-recent-sports-media-history
I don't post in the "Hey! (Insert name here) said something bad about the Pats!" threads usually but it seems as if none of you know what these so called "journalists" are doing. They are keeping this thing alive to drive in hits on their websites and ratings on their shows. You guys continue to perpetuate it when you post such things on here. This was a way of letting you know that if you just shut your mind off and don't read their garbage then not only will Fabrigate die but also will these journalists gunning for Belichick through a slow offseason.
That and there are not really any other threads to post in because the forum is being crapped up with these. Cannot wait for mini-camp to start so we all don't look so pathetic.
You're right about the media's motives, but what does that say about them? Should we all just stop commenting upon a national sports media that has become pure sensationalistic journalism? Should we all stop buying newspapers, watching ESPN and several other venues that have insisted upon writing/speaking before they know that facts?
Part of me says that would help and part of me says what the hell good will it do when 95% of the country doesn't give a crap.
Your comments are accurate KontradictioN, but don't expect everyone to act you'd like them to. It aint gonna happen.
I know where you're coming from, but you have to expect it. The media has made a tradition deceiving the public and bending the truth. Ask any Yankee/Clemens fan what he thinks about Clemens steroid story and how badly it's been dragged out without any SOLID proof. Just some guy saying he stuck him in the butt with a needle. Clemens, of course, says he didn't. Sound familiar? Yeah... kind of the same storyline as Spygate. ESPN has always had a tendency to blow things out of proportion and don't even get me started on the national media. Besides, I find myself a much happier fan now that I don't watch or look at ESPN's football page or Si, or read the Boston sports papers. I understand you're frustrated about it but there is only so much you can do. Ignore it and let the wave pass and you'll find yourself a much more content fan.
I think any Yankee fan who doesn't think Clemens used steroids would have to have his head buried in the sand.
