In fairness, Manning didn't choke. He didn't have a great game, but he was not the primary reason the Colts lost. The Colts' defense choked. Not Manning.

Yes.So would you agree that last years SB loss was primarily on the offense and not on the D?

If individual achievements (MVP) were awarded because the team accomplished something (9 wins) then Manning should be MVP and should also be blamed for this choke. He can't have his cake and not eat it when it's full of crow.
Yes.
However - the defense DID choke giving up 80+ yards in just over 2 minutes. But as a game it was more on the offense.
Peyton 7-8 in the playoffs....greatest ever my azz....
If Manning choked tonight, you guys must have really thought Brady choked when he threw 2 ints against denver in the playoffs, or threw an int against the colts on the final drive in the afc championship game.
(for the record, i was suprrised by manning getting so many MVP votes...)
It was mostly the offense's fault but when you're put at the 18 or so with about 2:30 left, you have to win the game. It wasn't "their" fault but it was partly "their" fault. If your defense only gives up 17 pts it is not their fault no matter how they did it, especially considering last year's offense.
Too bad we had to give him his only SB. But tonight is an excellent nightPeyton 7-8 in the playoffs....greatest ever my azz....
