It only takes a few minutes on this forum to come to King's conclusions. This place is littered with posters with an inferiority complex when it comes to the Patriots.

This thread is a prime example...it's a goddam 3 page thread complaining about how some nobody "dissed" Patriot fans. On any given day about half the topics on page 1 are more or less about a bunch of people here butthurt over some other nobody's opinion of the Patriots.

Newsflash, if King's statement affects you enough to post some derogatory garbage on a discussion forum then you probably have an inferiority complex.

Inferiority complex means something specific, and that something does not fit the Patriots fan base. Peter King is a writer who has access to things called books, and to something called the internet, so he should have been able to find the appropriate 'disorder'. Instead, he took the lazy route and just pulled something out of his ass.

In other words, he did with his words what you did with your post.

Ive seen Peter King whine quite a few times about the Patriots/Belichick cutting off his access after Spygate.

Look at the way he quotes people that insult him and tries to get one over on them. I get wanting to do that but a national journalist should be professional enough to leave it alone though.

There is no inferiority complex. You could argue that we're overly sensitive, but that's b.s. too as the Deflategate matter isn't over. We are pissed and we have a right to be. We are still out a first round draft pick. The NFL is still going to court in March trying to get Brady suspended. The NFL even doubled down about cheating with stronger language. This despite more and more scientific explanations from professors stating the balls were inflated as expected.

Has Peter King pointed out Goodell's stronger language saying it's a fact that science backs up the cheating allegations while every scientist not paid by the NFL disagrees with that? That new language came out just after an MIT professor posted a 15 minute explanation refuting it. So Goodell knows more about science than this professor? That is absolutely insane. What about the amicus curiae brief filed by Robert Blecker? A well respected attorney and NYU law professor who writes and gives speeches about cheating in sports filing a brief accusing the NFL of fraud is a major story for a journalist who writes exclusively about the NFL, no? Where was King's story about that? King has tried to appear fair on this issue, but his writing on the subject still lacks integrity and Pats fans who are knowledgeable about the subject know this and are right to give him a hard time. We still remember his initial take on the subject which starkly contrasts his take on Manning. We are pissed and we should be.

You and King are incorrectly conflating inferiority complex and persecution complex. I see this thread as mocking King for an incorrect use of words in trying to diss us, but whatever...

I have no idea where Peter King is coming from on this. He complains that Patriot fans are pointing out the huge differences in the way the media treated the accusations against Brady and Manning, and then he casually mentions that he thinks Brady was railroaded.

If he thinks Brady was railroaded, then how can he not understand Patriots' fans' complaints about the media crucifying Brady while allowing Manning the benefit of the doubt?
