The more I read on this guy, the more I like him.

Lions fans were pretty high on him too, and disappointed to see him released.

One mentioned he's a "slower" version of Wes Welker.

Great hands...Fearless over the middle.

Gaffney WHO???

Not sure what they're waiting for...he should have been a Patriot YESTERDAY!......

I always thought Furrey would fit in the offense we will have to wait and see. No visit was or has been confirmed so as far as we know only kicking the tires.

Interesting to hear he's buds with Welker. He reminded me of Welker when he killed us in '06.

For my money he can take a Slater/Ventrone/Washington 4th WR spot, though I dont consider him a 3rd wr.

Possesion reciever who has the possibility to catch a lot of passes not being a Number 1 or 2.

Not fast but smart with hands and run routes well.

Brady could potentially make him better than what he appears to be.

He had some really decent seasons in the past as long as Kitna was at QB. I remember reading that he was injured last season and found this:
"Lions placed WR Mike Furrey (concussion) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Wonder how well he has recovered if this had something to do with his release.

I like Furrey and he's a smart WR which plays right into our hands and the way TB likes smart option runners .. imagine having two Welkers !

I really like this guy, has great hands and runs solid routes, and had very good stats on a bad Detroit team except for Calvin Johnson

I would like the Pats to grab Furrey....always liked him...
