** Telephone Ringing **
Schobel: "Quaterbacks are toast, Schobel Plantation."
Mumbled Mid-Atlantic accent: "Let me speak with Aaron Schobel."
S: "Heh Yankee, who'all is callin'"
MMAa: "Bill Belichick."
S: "Heh Bill, show me the money."
MMAa: "Got a man coming by [the house] to check you out. [He] should be there soon."
S: "This is Texas Bill, cash is king." [hangs up]
** Doorbell rings **
S: "Bill wasn't kidding, New England doesn't mess around."
[Opens the door. Large bearded white man in a shark costume bursts through the open door.]
Shark: "Land shark!" [Decks Schobel with one punch.]
[Two large black men enter the door, one dressed in a shark costume.] [The three men stand over an unconscious Schobel.] [The uncostumed man pulls out his cell phone, hits speed dial.]
Man: "Bill?
BB: "Pepper, what'd you learn?"
Pepper Johnson: "Light decked him, Alge didn't even need to chip him. No way he's in condition to play football."
BB: "[About] what I expected, [but we] had to investigate. Leave him the congratulations on your retirement card from Brady [and] get the boys back here, [we've] got a lot of work to do for Miami."
Glad there's a few geezers around here to remember the classics!Hey BOR! You got to send that script to SNL.
Great parody, Man.
He was ambivalent about playing another season and Houston was tossing him kisses, but not enough cash, so he went ahead with his retirement. Now he's feeling Favre fever, which most athletes go through, but he doesn't want to go too far from home, so Houston is pretty much all he's thinking about. Why did he retire without at least trying for another team? I find it hard to believe that no team was interested in him.
