I imagine BB smiled a few times tonight. It has to make getting on to the task of the off-season moves/draft a little easier after watching your biggest rival go down in flames.

It also ended any team of the decade debate and kept Brady firmly ahead of Manning in the most relevant category of their rivalry.

All of that adds up to Schadenboner.

agreed. happy that the Saints won. The Jets D essentially shut down the Saints offense to 10 points. Sanchez gave them 14 points and cost us the game.

Manning was so smug and ****y in his post game press conference versus the Jets.

I cant wait to see what all of those local Boston sports writers who have been gushing why Manning is better then Brady have to say now. They ejaculated out of their mouths prematurely, morons should of at least waited to see if Manning had actually won before they went putting him ahead of TFB.

Absolutely. Nothing could be finer.
This feels as good as Duke losing to UConn on an April Monday night.
As good as the Yankees losing to the Marlins or D'Backs.
As good as the Lakers losing to Detroit in the Finals.
I never thought pettiness could be so sweet!

When Porter was in the clear with his pick six, I must admit that I shouted more loudly in my home than anytime since Adam's kick at the end of SB XXXVI. Of course, I'll never yell THAT loudly again, but this was only a mini-decibel quieter.

And yes, like others, I too went to bed with a real smile on my face on SB Sunday for the first time since 2005.

How delicious: not only is the "team of the decade" nonsense put to rest but Peyton's claim to being the greatest QB of his generation, let alone all time, is put into serious play after even local mediots like Cryan and Shaughnosey had anointed him this week!

All in all, a very satisfying evening from a Schadenbonersquishy perspective!
